Some Deer. We have opossums. Millions of them. And all of them find their way to the middle of the road some how. LOL

We get a lot of road kill at the Wall Mart parking lot.:p
 
Nothing wrong with roadkill. I see it all the time, squirrels, birds, deer, etc. It happens.

Lots of deer. Quite a few skunks, possoms, cats (sorry kat), dogs and groundhogs laying around the roads here.
 
Well if they were made into gravy I'd eat them...on second thought, actually I wouldn't. Why eat some really flat squirrel when there is a Taco Bell not to far away.
 
If you saw what went on behind that Taco Bell counter you might change your mind on that one.:p

We have squirrel and the occasional newspaper road kill here. Come to think of it, haven't seen a lot of squirrels lately. There's a new chinese carry out place in town........you don't think?...........Nah, can't be, the egg roll was really good.:chef:

Use to squirrel hunt quite a bit. Loved that fried squrrel or gravey either one.
 
Squirrel Chowder

2 squirrels
chicken parts, as desired
1 pound lean beef, cubed
1 cup celery, sliced
1 can corn
2 medium onions, sliced
salt, pepper
1 can tomato juice
1 can green beans
4 potatoes, cubed
2 carrots, sliced
1 can peas

Combine meat, celery, corn, onions, salt and pepper. Cover with water. Cook until meat is almost tender. Add tomato juice, green beans, potatoes, carrots and peas. Cook until tender. Remove bones and serve. Serves 4 to 6.

Nope, more like moose which is very much like lean beef. :)

Alaska, do you need to marinate Moose meat to tenderize or do you still have youe real teeth :p

I don't care for deer or any other "wild" meat..except hubby:p

Yes, I have my own teeth, Kat but moose meat's pretty tender anyways. :)
