I just spoke to his dad last night. He flew in from Bahrain to the USS Valley Forge last week. The Valley Forge is a "Guided Missile Launcher". He is still doing intelligence work. He is intercepting enemy communications and translating them. He then determines their credibility and usefulness then forwards this information up the food chain. This is actually what I was slated to do in the Army before I failed my physical. If his job is the same, he is also used in interrogation when needed. I thought you might like to know.

Best of luck to your Nephew and all of our men and women over there.

:salute: Thanks. I just recieved an email from him. He says he is doing pretty well so far. He said morale is a lot better than he expected to find concidering everything. Their tour was supposed to be up in May, but it will be at least 6-8 more months until they can come home. They haven't had more than two days off in the last 100 or so days. Those two things usually wouldn't contribute to good morale, but for the most part everyone is focused on the job at hand and determined to see it through. God Bless them all!
