More layoffs

This is not good from a team that said a few months ago "we are hiring."

More Layoffs: nothing official but heard that Stewart-Hass Racing [formerly Haas CNC Racing] laid off 16 people Monday, November 17th. Also on Monday, a large layoff at #96 Hall of Fame Racing, supposedly due to lack of full sponsorship. Also, the current Hall of Fame Racing shop building is up for sale.(11-18-2008)

nascar says you have to have a crew cheif for the car that isn't the driver.

But i agree, they may both be turning wrenches in the garage!

I suspect this had more to do with weeding out certian people more than lack of funding. Those teams we not exactly setting the world on fire with the staff they had.
