More Michigan Tire Testing

I thought they got it right this time. The guys who saved their right side tires made passes at the end. Those who didn't fell back. That's the way it should be, rather than the rock hard tires everyone can abuse for 2 or 3 runs without changing them.

I agree , Goodyear provides the best tire they can , then the drivers and crew chiefs go out and try to push it beyond it's limits . Always gonna happen.

Same here.

I think that Ted and I both agreed  that it'd be nice if tire management (not tire issues) was part of the race last weekend and it definitely was.

I agree. Cars being just as good at the end of a third stint on tires as they were at the start of the run creates for some boring racing. There hasn't been a deal where cars are good on the short run and give off on the long run or vice versa in a long time.

Sweet Jesus! Fender's head isn't going to fit through a V-neck at this rate of approval.

".....We had wine after dinner and a little zug zug before I drove to Kentucky, where I got stuck in traffic and my car broke down...."

Tires should never blister. Wearing is one thing, blistering is bad and is an obvious sign that there is a problem.
