More Night races !

I found this poll on NASCAR.com. A seventh night race will be added to the Nextel Cup schedule next year, so how many more night races should there be ? Vote, and post how many more or how many less do you think?

I'd love the race here at LVMS The UAW Daimler Chrysler 400 to be held at night and maybe one of the Talladega races too.

most of them will go bye the way side anyway. People only have so much money to spend.

If it's a good track it will make it.

A track like Hialeah speedway where the cars just follow each other around will die any way. I still can't believe that place is open. It's the sorriest show of racin there is. The cars are all the same. There's no way a guy can build a car better than anyone elses with the rules they use now. Racing was a inventor sport ! Now the tracks want cookie cutter cars !
With cookie cutter cars the racing stinks!

I like the night races, I just hope they don't start adding so many that they loose their specialness.

love to watch the night races, but its a conflict with my local track, so I usually don't get to see them live, so I voted for less night races.

Like Dee said earlier,too many night races would just take away the uniqueness of such events IMO.Although the paint schemes seem to look better at night under the lights

I would love to see more night races but the problem with that is there is nothing to watch on t.v. on Sunday with a Saturday night race.

You really don't want to many night races. 2 or 3 nore through out the year would hurt the local tracks much if any.

I would like to see about 10 night races. Keep them special.

I don't know that 'Dega would ever be good to run at night. It's dangerous enough in the daylight.

I love the night races and would love to see more, but you guys are correct I think it does take a toll on local tracks attendance and after all that is where the future guys are going to be coming from. So if you are going to run a Sat. night NASCAR event they should somehow showcase local short track events to reflect the popularity and grow the local scene more...

I think 7 is just about right. There are a number of tracks in the Vermont/New Hampshire/Northern New York area that race on Saturday nights, and thy're already fighting for attendance amongst themselves. More Cup night races during the summer would only hurt their chances of survival.
