More Parental Failure...

A 3 year old left alone outside in the yard long enough to find a way into a car, lock himself inside and die from the heat. Sounds fishy as hell to me. Turn 50 3 year old's loose in a yard with a car and see how many can open the door, get in and shut the door.

Mmm hmmm. I betting the kid couldn't get the door open.
Let's assume for a second that the story is true. Why is a three year old outside, unsupervised, long enough to get into a car and succumb to the heat?

Either there have been 10x more of these "Child left in car" incidents this year, or the media is jumping on these stories. Seriously, every couple of days we hear the same thing.
