Home Depot and Penske expanded their truck partnership to most stores across the country.

I'm feeling it baby. *takes another one of my friends, friends pills*, Home Depot to Penske. Last year, it was reported that Home Depot was pushing JGR hard to get Carl Edwards in their car. That didn't happen.

So what, you say. JGR is getting Matt to drive the Home Depot car. Well then, what's the big secret? Everyone knows Joey is out of the Home Depot car, so why not just announce Matt as the driver for next year? Oh yeah, it's reported that Matt can't announce any team change before mid August because it's in his ROUSH contract. That makes no sense at all, because Matt already announced he's leaving Roush after this season, and that's the only part Jack cares about. Throw in the fact that last year Carl was announcing to the world that he may be headed to JGR. Is Matt the only one Jack put a muzzle on? Matt also said he didn't even tell Roush where he was going. This doesn't make sense.

Now we have Penske in a new business partnership with a big Cup sponsor for another team. Sound familiar? It should. Penske entered into a new business partnership with Shell Pennzoil to nab them away from RCR 2 years ago. This is why Matt needs to keep quite. Home Depot and Penske want to make a big splash and announce the whole thing with much fanfare.

So, it's Matt to Penske in the 3rd team sponsored by Home Depot. If this is what happens, then Sam probably gets the best shot at the 22.

BTW, has anyone heard Brad talking lately about how badly they need to get an elite driver over to Penske racing?

Silly Season who knows, and the outcomes are not always logical, I just wait and see

I've been thinking about that. Joey says he has 2 offers, presumably one is from JGR. Penske has said they wont make a decision until later in the chase. That could be a smoke screen, but it sure seems like Sam still has a shot.

Then again, I don't know anything.

All you have to do is read the comments and tweets from other drivers to realize Kenseth is going to JGR.

Logano could be going to Penske or a second Furniture Row team. The only way JGR fields a 4th team is if Trevor Bayne can get out of his Roush contract.

My dream is based on thousands of little kids building toy Penske trucks provided by Home Depot, and you come in here talking about what drivers are saying?
