Well, it's Thursday. It is a cloudy dreary day here in North Texas. We could expect to see some rain and/or thunderstorms throughout the day. Go ahead, get it out of your system!!! We need clear skies, sunshine and warm temperatures for next weekend!!!!! Now, the million dollar question is, 'Will it happen?'. Probably not, but one can hope can't they???

Oh well, first we have Bristol! Tomorrow is qualifying, so let's just hope for the best!

maj, I've been doing my anti-rain/cold dance for a month.

You just know that next Thursday it will be 90 degrees, but come Friday the weather will be miserable and stay that way through Monday.

I'll keep thinking positive thoughts, though. *sigh*
 
TRL, I started packing the traveltrailer with clothes last nite. I put in sweatshirts, tshirts, jeans/shorts, sweatpants and windpants. We will be hauling it up to the track on Sunday, and then I will wait for the weather report next Wednesday. Then I will most likely be packing the truck with coats and extra blankets and other 'cold weather' related clothing items. You can never be too prepared. Or so they say! As long as the sun is shining, I'm sure it will be at least bearable. (I hope! ;) )


Oh, and I have been doing my anti-rain/cold dance too! (And, I will continue!) :bounce:
 
Not bad here, sunny, windy and warm!!! I love this weather. I've been out shopping this morning now on to housework!! Yeah <_< I'm so happy bout that!! But then it's off again for more running around shopping, now I love that!! Everyone have a great day!!



Should be all join Maj and TRL in their good weather dance? :p

About 75 here now, but I won't be around much longer to enjoy it. I'm off to Bristol... :D
 
maj, I don't even bother with warm-weather stuff. My seats are under the overhang --- it can be 90 and my seats are still cold. To me, warm weather means I don't have to wear a coat over my sweatshirt. LOL

And please, all my friends here, do your anti-cold/rain dance for us. (((HUGS)))


Lap3, I'd ask you to give Happy a hug for me, but will settle for a handshake. LOL
 
Hello forum folk, it's 63 here. Cloudy and mild is the forecast for the weekend.

I'd help with the dancing Maj and TRL, but I can't dance. :eek:

Hi everybody. We had a wonderful warm sping day here in Indiana. They forsythia is in bloom! It's supposed to stay warm right on through the weekend. yahoo! :D
 
I STILL want to know who left the door open last week and sent the COLD to Dixie.

I'll soon be complaining about the dang pollen!
 
Perfect day here today!! I love this weather and we are going to have a very nice weekend!! I'll be out playing volleyball with the girls. Then it's on to get the garden ready!! Hubby's wanting to plant corn soon. Anybody like to weed out there, come on up!!
