Most Caring Athletes

The USA Today Magazine has selected Kyle Petty and Tony Stewart as the most caring athletes for 2004. I believe that a football player won the award last year. Kyle and Tony were selected for their work with the Victory Junction Camp. Everyone, of course, knows about Kyle's devotion to the camp but not as many know about the work that Tony had done.

My hats off to both of them.

Tony loves his bad boy imagine, but he's got a huge heart. I had read about his contributions in one of the recent Nascar Illustrated mags.

Stuff like this makes me like Tony so much. I was happy not liking him and then he has to go do all this nice stuff and be a generally nice guy..... But, I guess I can live with liking him... As long as he doesn't do anymore really stupid things.... like beating up on my driver... lol.

and just a general way to go and be nice to everyone, esp Kyle, for doing nice stuff like this for the world.
