If Jr can continue his success with Greg Ives for me, and also if Hornish will be better this time around
I'm interested in the entire Stewart Haas adventure . Happy aside , that place is a train wreck . Hoping something comes together for them . Jack Roush has to do a deal with Yates and put the "racing" back in Roush Racing . MWR , same thing , something big needs to change . Childress , not much going on there till the kids grow up . Gibbs , the term "set for life " springs to mind . I see them challenging Hendrick for many years . Did I leave anybody out ?
Agreed on Kyle, and Jaime Mac too. Ganassi stepped it up last year. I'm waiting to see if they put either car (both???) in the Chase. If Kyle Larson can avoid the sophomore slump & if Chase Elliott makes an appearance.
We all know how he's going to do. It's only a question of how he does it.I guess I'm curious to see how John Wes Townley does.

The title of hitting the wall more times than anyone else maybe. His team switched to Chevy and they are running Hendrick engines, so he has a shot at a title if he learns to keep the truck in one piece
Also, I wonder if all of these colorful personas can mesh at JGR. I have a feeling someone will have to go in due time.
Sure they do. Just look at Joey's transition once he got out of the ego castle that is JGR. Jeff and Jimmie are great friends even though they have beat fenders on the pavement. Not sure that drivers' personas really need to mesh . Don't think a lot of them ever do

Its gonna be interesting to see how Edwards handles Busch & Hamlin. He'll probably stick closer to Matt.
You better hope they are working because lord knows they need it.Tell you what, Kyle Busch called for more teamwork, and JGR, MWR, and TRD have been in meetings all winter--teamwork is in the air. Unprecedented to this extent. As far as internal teamwork....Coach is a coach. Do the math. There aren't problems there, and there won't be. There are far more instances of togetherness at JGR than disruption.
I dont think Carl needs Matt. Carl scored 2 wins last year in Roush junk and Matt had a big ol' goose egg.CHEX, I don't think Matt has any love for Carl, but Carl does need Matt right now. Denny in my opinion is not a team player and I am sitting on the fence with Kyle.
I don't think Coach can make 4 teams work any more than any other team has been able to.

The push of last year's set ups fosters the illusion of performance issues. Everybody in the TRD stable needed a loose set up (14 wins in '13), none of them got it (2 wins in '14). Overhauling would be a huge mistake, and take TRD/Toyota in a direction that would take years to fix. They won't do it. They get it.
Matt drives his car to the limit of its potential, and no further. Those set ups left TRD drivers with minimal potential. The set ups will be different, and so will the results IMO. Carl needs his teammates just like they need him. All will be fine. Can't wait.
Yeah youre right. Carl just doesnt care anymoreWell Matt was driving Toyota junk as you put it and Carl was driving Fords ( I am sure Ford makes sure he gets what he needs.)
Now Almirola got 1/2 as many wins in a Petty Junk and the Penske team got close to a dozen. Don't sound to me like Carl
was making much effort.
So, who are you curious about? Carl Edwards for me. Hands down.
Yeah youre right. Carl just doesnt care anymore
Its not that he doesnt care its because backflips are hard to do when you get older
