So, who are you curious about? Carl Edwards for me. Hands down.

If Kyle Larson can avoid the sophomore slump & if Chase Elliott makes an appearance.

Curious to see how alor of the team do in 2015. I think Carls going to have one of his best years ever. Kasey, I hope he gets a few wins with the new cc and new rules. Jr? prob win 2 or 3. Harvick prob win a bunch again. How bout Danica and her wife Ricky will they break into the top 20? How many cars is Kyle going to push into the wall this season? Should be interesting.

Last season, the rules package really hurt Johnson, he stated that his car was too tight. Hopefully this year, the rules package will free up his car some and he'll get back to being the Top Dog with Championship #7.

If Jr can continue his success with Greg Ives for me, and also if Hornish will be better this time around

For Hornish my bar is Marcus Ambrose's 2014 performance. If he beats that then I will call it a success. My team(s) to watch are the 14 and 41. I want to see Tony bounce back, and I am real interested in seeing how Busch and Gibson perform.

I'm interested in the entire Stewart Haas adventure . Happy aside , that place is a train wreck . Hoping something comes together for them . Jack Roush has to do a deal with Yates and put the "racing" back in Roush Racing . MWR , same thing , something big needs to change . Childress , not much going on there till the kids grow up . Gibbs , the term "set for life " springs to mind . I see them challenging Hendrick for many years . Did I leave anybody out ?

For me the 2015 season will be a success if I see Hamlin and Carl fighting each other while Matt referees.
Hamlin puts himself in the wall again while trying to wreck Joey.
Carl tries to explain why he isn't doing well.

Ryan wins the Xf championship over Elliot.
Brad beats Kyle in a truck race.
Joey wins the 2016 Cup Championship with Brad in second.

Agreed--other than Uncle Harv, SHR has the POTENTIAL to be a dumpster fire. But I look forward to seeing how Patrick responds. Kurt--lets see how his issues play out. Tony--I want desperately for him to win

Agreed on Kyle, and Jaime Mac too. Ganassi stepped it up last year. I'm waiting to see if they put either car (both???) in the Chase.

I guess I'm curious to see how John Wes Townley does.
We all know how he's going to do. It's only a question of how he does it.

I'm keeping an eye on these RFR and MWR camps this year to make an improvement from last year's mediocre seasons.

Also, if Bayne can actually be a decent driver in cup.

Also, I wonder if all of these colorful personas can mesh at JGR. I have a feeling someone will have to go in due time.

Not sure that drivers' personas really need to mesh . Don't think a lot of them ever do . Most of them have to be feel like they are the best , just to climb to the top tier . Not sure Jimmie and Jeff ever did , for instance . I know Tony and Harv did , but that was before they were teammates . It may be more important that their crew chiefs get along . IMO

I am hoping for a Tony comeback and of course Kyle Larson to have a great season. The Carl saga will be interesting to watch if he does well to see how badly Kyle Busch implodes

Carl Edwards and Tony Stewart - Can Carl achieve the success he thinks he can and is Smoke just steam at this point.

I'm really looking forward to seeing how JGR does... they've gone through a lot of changes between Carl and all the CC swapping. They'll be interesting to follow either way so Im looking forward to that.... also of course looking forward to seeing if Joey and Team Penske can stay at the level they've been at.

Sure they do. Just look at Joey's transition once he got out of the ego castle that is JGR. Jeff and Jimmie are great friends even though they have beat fenders on the pavement.

Its gonna be interesting to see how Edwards handles Busch & Hamlin. He'll probably stick closer to Matt.

Tell you what, Kyle Busch called for more teamwork, and JGR, MWR, and TRD have been in meetings all winter--teamwork is in the air. Unprecedented to this extent. As far as internal teamwork....Coach is a coach. Do the math. There aren't problems there, and there won't be. There are far more instances of togetherness at JGR than disruption.

CHEX, I don't think Matt has any love for Carl, but Carl does need Matt right now. Denny in my opinion is not a team player and I am sitting on the fence with Kyle.

I don't think Coach can make 4 teams work any more than any other team has been able to.

You better hope they are working because lord knows they need it.

I dont think Carl needs Matt. Carl scored 2 wins last year in Roush junk and Matt had a big ol' goose egg.

The push of last year's set ups fosters the illusion of performance issues. Everybody in the TRD stable needed a loose set up (14 wins in '13), none of them got it (2 wins in '14). Overhauling would be a huge mistake, and take TRD/Toyota in a direction that would take years to fix. They won't do it. They get it.

Matt drives his car to the limit of its potential, and no further. Those set ups left TRD drivers with minimal potential. The set ups will be different, and so will the results IMO. Carl needs his teammates just like they need him. All will be fine. Can't wait.

Well Matt was driving Toyota junk as you put it and Carl was driving Fords ( I am sure Ford makes sure he gets what he needs.)
Now Almirola got 1/2 as many wins in a Petty Junk and the Penske team got close to a dozen. Don't sound to me like Carl
was making much effort. :lilangel:

I'm interested to see if Tony can regain his form as a multiple race winning, championship calibre driver or is his career pretty much over.

Thread after thread you keep saying that JGR's problems were all on the setup's and I just don't buy it. They had obvious performance issues, it was clear as day to anybody who watched. Horsepower, handling, whatever else they were fighting were all problems.
You're going to say they vastly improved in the Chase, yet they still couldn't win a race. So perhaps the entire JGR team is one I'll be watching to see if they can return to being a threat for the championship.

Yeah youre right. Carl just doesnt care anymore ;)

Its got to be Kyle Busch paired with a new crew chief at JGR.................. and how far Joe Gibbs will go to win the cup

I'm not the least bit curious about Carl . Great driver going to a great team . I really want to see if there is any substance to Stewart Haas .

LOL. Hey, not curious about Kyle because I know how it will be. Remember, I am riding a two race winning streak by the 18 in Fontana! Don't have to ask me which side my bread is buttered. Have to adjust this M & M's hat I've been wearing all day. A package came from NASCAR Superstore--pretty sure the son came through with the Interstate cap. He can live her another year.
