Most Popular Driver

Earlier this year, Bill Elliott announced that he will remove his name from the ballot for the 2003 Grands!® Biscuits Most Popular Driver Award. Fans have voted Elliott the Most Popular Driver more times than any other driver. Last year, he edged out Dale Earnhardt, Jr., to mark his sixteenth victory.

"I've had such a loyal fan base for so many years, it's been incredible. They've been so behind me and such a part of my career," said Elliott, who drives the No. 9 Dodge. "Sometimes it takes honors like Most Popular Driver to realize the power of this, and it's time for another driver to enjoy that feeling with the fans."

Who do you think should win this year's Grands!® Biscuits Most Popular Driver Award? Be sure to log on and vote every day, because this year, it's anybody's race!

Vote for your favorite driver as the Most Popular Driver!

I think it should still be Bill, but If I had to choose another driver, i think it would be Matt.

I personaly don't like the way the MPD award is awarded!! They should do it a ballot at the racetracks when they fisrt enter the gates. That way its the real most popular driver and not the driver with the fans who have the most computers and find many ways to get all the votes possible in one day.

Dale jr will prolly win it this year, without bill being in it.

Good point PettyBenson, i think they should do that at the tracks too, just like at the Ball parks. Just one Ballot per person though,i agree voting online tends to get a little out of control sometimes.

I too think JR will get it. Although that's not who I would pick. I too think that online voting really isn't a good way to collect votes.

Dale Jr will probably win it, but I still voted for Jeff Gordon

Who in the world ar the whole town of Dawsonville gonna vote for now. :D
