Sad deal. I hit another rider once, in a relatively high-speed area of the track after he had fallen off of his bike. He had just stood up when I came off the drop-off and I hit him dead center. He survived.
 
Very sad.

A similar thing happened over here at Pala Raceway a month or two back.... A rider flew over a berm, and the bike struck another rider that was in a sort of waiting area with others in a section of track behind the berm; killing him..


This is going to be tough on everyone involved for a long time.
