Movies/TV shows you hate

Ok which movies and shows do you hate? I'm talking about whenever they come on you reach for the remote just to change to anything else.

For me it would have to be about any Reality show. I watched American Idol last season but most reality shows just make me sick filled with nasty gross people who will do anything to be famous. *example, John and Kate plus 8*
 
Used to love CSI, but the proliferation of copy cats burned me out. As did all the Law & Order copies.

Reality shows in general are not on my "watch" list. Even got burned out on Survivor. I absolutely refuse to watch Dancing With...., America's Got Talent(they don't), or any other in that genre.

Bachelor and Bachelorette are detestable --- there is no sane reason to watch that drivel.
 
Any reality show ranks up there. ( Except Cops... Is that a reality show? I like it because every time I thing I'm screwed up I watch a Cops episode and realize that I'm actually pretty normal.)

Ditto almost any movie/TV show with cartoon characters or computer generated characters (exception: South Park).

CSI's and Law & Order shows were good but they've about run their course. I've had it with LAW & Order especially since they change cast members so frequently.

Note to TV and Cable networks: OK, we've got enough medical/doc shows. Don't run the genre into the ground. A couple are good but the rest are just silly. Enough already!

It's been 25-30 years since they've inundated the channels with westerns. When will that format pop up? Any bets?
 
Something else I hate are those bad Saturday night movies on the Sci-Fi channel. The acting and special effects are so bad you can't help but laugh.
 
CSI:Miami is so annoying that even the commercials make me want to punch David Caruso(sp?) in the face.

Virtually any "reality" show drives me nuts too.

None of those can really compete with a couple of shows my daughter watches, though. Those would be "True Jackson VP" and "Big Time Rush".
 
doctor who. been watching it (when aired) as long as i can remember. also like a lot of the vintage sci-fi/fantasy movies as well as newer ones. i've never sat through even one episode of any of the reality shows. while there are a lot of interesting tv shows i see on tv there's few (none currently) i bother to schedule time around to see.
 
I wasn't going to reply to this thread, but I just couldn't resist. As for CSI...I loved the show and even went with CSI Miami. I had to stop that because it was too late. The two shows that I won't miss these days are NCIS and The Unit. Wait, The Unit is now off the air and NCIS is in reruns. The wife always has me watching Survivor with her and that is off and on, depending on how I feel at the time. I can take it or leave it. I used to be addictive to Big Brother, but Evil Dick turned me off there. These days, about the only show that I will watch other than sports or movies is Cops and now the wife has me watching Operation Repo. Lordy!

Isn't that the case with any reality show? If I need a good jolt to how good my life is I just watch Jerry Springer :eek:

Ditto on the Unit! Wth were they thinking and why hasn't anyone else picked up that show????
Evil Dick also turned me off of big brother, I am going to see what they put together this year before I say no way though.

More shows that I hate are shows like Supernanny, Trading Spouses, and pretty much any of those dumb shows on CMT.

I had them one year I think it was season four with Janie! It was okay but you better have a lot of spare time :D
 
Shows I hate are the reality shows, Family Guy, and all those Fox animated cartoon shows.
 
I don't like pretty much any TV show that doesn't involve motorsports or cars. That's part of the reason I don't watch much TV. This includes, but is not limited to the following:

Any reality or talent show
Any medical / law / crime drama
Any adult cartoon show
Any late night or talk show
Anything on TLC

As far as movies, I tend to be more open-minded. So there isn't a much that I don't like as a genre. The few exceptions are:

Any recent parody movie (Scary Movie, etc)
Any romantic comedy (especially action ones like Knight and Day)
Any torture porn movie (Hostel, Human Centipede, Saw)

And the worst car movie ever made: Driven

i have never seen so many cars fly 50 feet in the air burst into flames and crash into a lake
