TV Shows: The Big Bang Theory, Two and a Half Men, The Closer, Leverage, Rachel Maddow, Countdown/Keith Olbermann.

In addition, anything with Eliza Dushku:wub::growl: will hold my attention for as long as it is on. They show Tru Calling reruns every now and then (on SciFi, I think) and I have my DVR set to record it any time it comes on. I loved the show Dollhouse that she was in and was rather crushed that they cancelled it. I could watch that girl read the newspaper for a couple hours and be perfectly happy doing so. :cool:

The jury is out on Rookie Blue but it has promise
Waiting for Blue Bloods (Tom Selleck) and The Defenders (Jim Belushi) in the fall. Selleck is always good but Belushi is spotty. He has talent but his silliness gets in the way. His movies have been OK but his TV work as been pitiful.

Yes, it was. Denzel Washington is almost always really good. I was a little disappointed with Pelham 123, but Man On Fire, John Q, Out Of Time, Inside Man, even going back to Pelican Brief are some really good movies.
 
Movies: Braveheart....I could watch that movie over and over, best ever IMO.

Shows: Two and a Half Men, Rescue Me, Justified, Nip/ Tuck(before it ended), Stargate Universe, anything Boston Sports, of course racing.
 
Figure since I just joined, I'll get in on this.

For movies, I love Eastwood movies. The only ones I don't care for are the orangutan movies. After that it's just a mix of things. Some of my favorites:

I don't usually like most of today's comedies, but I've seen Walk Hard and Step Brothers, and thoroughly enjoyed them. Maybe it's just something about John C. Reily?

Current Shows:

Breaking Bad
Justified
Two and a Half Men

Those are the only ones I watch regularly. Otherwise, I'd be a boring person to sit and watch TV with. For the most part, when I watch TV, I want to be informed in some way. I watch a lot of the Discovery and History Channels, or just news. Yes, primarily Fox (what's not to like about Megyn Kelly?) Freedom Watch with Andrew Napolitano and Stossel are regulars for me.

Past shows: All In the Family, Cheers, Seinfeld, The Sopranos, The Shield, and Deadwood come to mind.
 
I also forgot to add A Bronx Tale as one of my favorite movies. That is one of De Niro's best acting jobs, but the job done by the kid who plays his son and the performance by Chazz Palminteri are just plain excellent.

Anybody else like this movie?
 
Had to add Full Metal Jacket. Watched it again last night, forgot what a great movie this is.
