MRN or PRN

Maybe you all don't get both of these radio networks, but these are the two that compete for races on the radio. MRN is a France owned network and PRN is owned by the Smith group. Of course, when a race is at one of Smith's tracks, he's not going to use MRN. My question is which do you like better? I really enjoy MRN better. I guess I like the anchors much better. I don't so much dislike Doug Rice, but Mark Garrow says too many uh's for my tastes. Barney Hall and Joe Moore just make racing great for me.
 
We don't get either here.........we barely get any radio stations here in the canyon.:) Joe Moore is a DJ on one of the local morning radio shows that I occassionally listen to on the way to work........he's funny.
 
Yeah we don't get any of those stations here either.:(

Hey DE, do you ever listen to the Mark and Bryan show?
 
Yeah I listen to them every morning off and on. I don't know where they broadcast.
 
Sorry you guys don't get them. When we watch a race, we always have the radio on so that when there is a commercial, we listen to the radio. Of course, now and then, they have breaks at the same time. :mad: MRN has the upper hand, but they've been at it for a longer time.
 
If we had it here, I would listen to that and mute the tv. Larry's voice is very annoying and Darrell doesn't know what the heck he is talking about.
 
You can get it, but for a price. Used to be you could log onto MRN's site and listen when there was a race. Now, NASCAR.com had gained the rights for it and to listen, you have to pay for their crappy multimedia. Of course, here in NC, we can get all of the racing programs on the radio. I've lived in areas where you couldn't though, so I know your pain! :(
 
I prefer MRN. I listened to a few races while on the road this season and found MRN's announcers amazing. I didn't even bother to watch the races all the way through when I got home, just because I got a clear picture in my mind of the race from the MRN announcers.
 
mis-fit, where in Kansas are you located? I know that state pretty well...born over on the western side. Lived most of my youth just south of the middle border in OK. Did a little time in the AF in Topeka and cut wheat all through the middle.

I live in the southeast part of KS. About two hours from Topeka. Traveled pretty much through the whole state. For a while even lived at Ft. Riley near Manhattan, KS.

I only get MRN (that I know of) and I also listen to it during the commercials. I llllike it very much!

Seems as though you have a problem there Ro. While we can get both on a variety of stations, there is one in which they only have PRN.
