Really dont know the point, but PB post about Nutt got me thinking.

This year Murray State Football went 2-9(Overall) 1-7(OVC) Did not win a single home game. At least this was was better then last season 1-10(Overall) 0-8(OVC) no home wins.

2005: 2-9
2004: 7-4
2003: 4-8

Basketball

I never seen Murray State loose a basketball game untell last year, i think they were 1-3 of the games i went to. I hardly call 16-14 a winning season. Cornin was a heck of a coach, hell MSU almost beat NC in the 1st round of the tourny that year. But now I dont know if they could beat there way out of a wet paper bag. This year they are 3-2, last game was a loss vs Miss State.

I know teams have dry spells, But i just wish Murray would keep a good coach, it might cost some more money, but latly we have been the laphing stock of the OVC. If SIU can get in the top 20, then Murray should be able to do the same, but i dont really think the NCAA cares much for the OVC.

i know this was random and made no since.
 
Im going to try to go to the Eastern Kentucky and Morehead State games this week at Murray.

This week seams to be full of basketball.

Tonight: i was at the g/fs high school VB game.

Wensday: night it will be MSU vs EKU.

Thursday: F/JV/VG games. (3 games) The girl friend plays.

Sat: Murray vs Morehead State

Just a note, i have been to Morehead twice this year. Not for sports, but because of work. I went to an Wal-Mart (not an super Wal-Mart but the old timey ones that close....) and they had NO Morehead State shirts! I was just going to get one because i have SIU, EKU, Bama, UK, Ill State, shirts...not that I am a fan, i just like to get the shirt of the college of the towns i stay in. But i was really surprized that Wal-Mart did not have any.

Is this the one you took to Nashville? The one you crossed a State line with? The one that is underage, I'm assuming if she plays on the Freshmen girl's BB team?

Naaa, shes not the one i crossed state lines with. Thats the one that broke up with me like 2 weeks after Nashville in a damn e-mail. After her i dated another girl for about 2 weeks, then a 3 or so months later i got with my current g/f whom iv been with for 6....almost 7 months. ;)

She's legal...mind that 16 is concent in the state of KY and she's a Sr.......BTW: shes over 16. ;)

Went to the Murray State game, i have got to say the ref's done a really good job, untell the last 5 mins or so of the game. I know they are people and not saints, but some of the calls were BS, they called a T foul on Murray, but when EKU done the same thing, they did not call jack crap. So another loss for Murray, They had the lead with just a few secs to go, caused a turnover and EKU sunk a 3 and took the lead. Murray lost by 1.
 
Murray beat Morehead lastnight 63-44. Had up to an 25 or so point lead with around 5mins to go in the game. Murray is now 4-3 1-1 in the ovc. Sounds like the start to another grate year. :rolleyes:
 
I was not at the game last night since it was in B'ham...but from what i heard the ref really f***ed up....
 
Went to the game lastnight. Tenn State was the opp.

Girls, made a nice comeback was down by close to 20, was able to get the lead, but unable to hold it and was tied at the end of the game. OT lost by 5 85-90

Guys had a 21 point lead at one time, 15 with 3mins to go, but with turnover after turnover. was olny able to win the game by 4....guess a win is a win, but if they just had a 12 point lead it could of came out a lot differnt.

They play SEMO monday night (i think) Then host Austin Peay at home on Thursday. (both teams at 1 and 2 in the OVC)
