to those of you willing to step away from the bright lights of Nascar, I cant' recommend a show any more than what Knoxville offers every fall. take a look at what it costs to attend ANY nascar weekend and consider stepping out of the box and spending an unbelievable 3 days of wide open SIDE-BY-SIDE racing action in small town iowa.

First, Knoxville is amazing. Absolutely top-notch track, and considering it's hope of the Sprint Car Hall of Fame, and runs a weekly shows all summer long, it beats any NASCAR track in existence.

Second, how about Birky getting by Bloomquist on the last lap, last turn? Crowd goes nuts!

incredible finish! noticed birky using the same line the last several laps that moyer used a couple years ago where he could catch the cushion way early coming out of two to launch down the backstretch then run wide open in three and four. not sure I believe the bloomer claim when it appeared he blew the entry into three, but regardless was an unbelievable conclusion to another great three nights of racing.

track prep guy should be in the hall of fame!
