Just wondering if anyone has taken the tour.

I stopped in there this weekend because I wanted to see what he had built out of a movie theater. I remember him talking about how great it was going to be for the fans, we would be able to see exactly what goes on inside a Nascar shop. When you walk in the door there is a room on the right that has a car for each of his teams. Out in the lobby there are plenty of pictures on the wall showing different phases of construction, many with Buffy in them. There are also a few glamour shots of her and thier daughter. At the back of the lobby there was a small stand selling overpriced hats and T shirts.

If you wanted to look into the shop you had to go to the upper level and when I tried to go up the stairs I was told I had to pay $15. Not a chance, turned and walked out the door. After all his talk about being about the fans I was really disappointed in how he is gouging thier wallets.

Don't get me wrong, I like Mikey but I don't like his business practises. :(

Sorry, I think Robbies comments about Mikey are spot on!

I used to be a Mikey fan, even paid to join his fan club, now I think he's a lying, cheating POS.

:(

Mikey has to make his money somewhere. He can't make races.:D

and NAPA is CHARGING him somehting like 200 grand per missed race i think?

I had read it was 300grand he was getting dinged. Don't know how true it is.

I can't believe he is charging $15 for the honor of looking at thier torn up racecars. I would walk out too and probably tell them what they could do with it before I hit the door, pathetic.

On Dave Moody on Sirius radio yesterday they said it was $250,000.00. How accurate that is I don't really know but just for the sake of arguement lets use that figure. Mikey has made 1 race so far, and again for arguement lets say he does not make anymore for the rest of the year; $250,000.00 x 35 = $8,750,000.00 he'd be returning. With Sponsorship on the Cup cars going from $15 - $20 million a year he's still making far more than he's earning. That's just MHO
