My Big Project in School (Please Be Gentle)

I have NO Photoshop experience at all until tonight.


We had to take a picture they gave us and turn it into something else, then write 2-3 paragraphs explaining why.


Here was the original.

Then my take on it. I toned the picture down and colored the droplets. My coloring skills need work but it's ok, I think. I made sure there was still lots of black and white, color and contrast and the rest is ok. It's 150 points.

Photo editing takes alot of time & practice with the program. You think you know it all & then you jump to another program & your at square 1 all over again. 10,000 hours concept really comes into play.

Keep at it & youll do fine.

I wanted it understated. The original was much too colorful. I wanted to tone it down.

Tip- Make 1600% zoom be your friend. I've spent endless hours at 1600% with a 1 pixel eraser to do layering.
