Well, not quite my favorite, but it is definitely in the top 5.
It is Ohio State vs Michigan Day. This is bigger that the sports and entertainment section can handle. There isn't much better cause for excitement for Ohio sports fans than watching this game.
If my cat hadn't died this morning it could be a perfect day. I've had that cat for about 7 years now. Someone threw him and another kitten in a potato chip bag and put threw him in my mother-in-law's garbage cans that were sitting on the curb. Fortunately she found them (by following their cries) and brought them over to our house. We fed them with medicine droppers until they were big enough the eat on their own. They've been the most affectionate cats you could ever find. My favorite of the two, Tiger, passed away as my wife watched this morning.
Fortunately, I'm a guy so I can compartmentalize (sp?) things. I miss the cat and I hate that he is gone but dwelling on it won't bring him back and it certainly won't help the kids get over it any better.
So the game comes at a great time for me.
