My God this is terrible.

Lets see now. The man sits in the house while dogs are ripping his son up. Neighbors are yelling and screaming and then comes out and tells the man that tried to save the boy to get of his proptery. What kind of idiot is that. :angry:
 
First of all, I think pit bulls should be outlawed anyway, second the father and his girlfriend should be charged with first degree murder. That is so awful.

That idiot should, and I'm sure will spend quite a bit of time behind bars for this. :angry:

But, first degree murder is defined by premeditation. I really don't think this guy intended to kill his son, although anything is possible in the sick world we live in. However, his stupidity and neglect led directly to the death of the child. It is murder, but first-degree just doesn't apply. First degree stupidity, but not first degree murder. <_<

The legal definiton of first degree murder...

MURDER, FIRST DEGREE - In order for someone to be found guilty of first degree murder the government must prove that the person killed another person; the person killed the other person with malice aforethought; and the killing was premeditated.

To kill with malice aforethought means to kill either deliberately and intentionally or recklessly with extreme disregard for human life.

Premeditation means with planning or deliberation. The amount of time needed for premeditation of a killing depends on the person and the circumstances. It must be long enough, after forming the intent to kill, for the killer to have been fully conscious of the intent and to have considered the killing.
 
After searching Dumas' home, police charged him with drug and firearms felonies.

Prosecutors were considering additional charges ranging from child neglect to murder, although a murder charge is rare in such cases. Police said they want to find out why the boy was unsupervised and whether the adults in the house heard him cry for help.

I hope they gas him, hang him and then fry him!! Can't believe how down right STUPID people (can we call them that?) can in this world today!
