Cant have been too much surely. It wasn't much to look at.Beautiful car. I wonder what he paid for the rolling hull.
67/68 Cougar lights were three-bulb, sequential, like the early T-Birds. Shelby used a Cougar tail light panel, without the Cougar chrome trim, in the original Shelbys. The mechanical electronic units originally used in the Cougars were state of the art for the day. The units were attached to cardboard-like trunk panel trim in the 1/4 panel well area of the trunk. When the 67&68 cars aged, dust and debris gathered in the 1/4 panel wells of the trunk and plugged up the rubber trunk drains. If the deck lid weatherstrip was aged, rainwater would seep in, pool in the bottom of the 1/4 panel wells and rust the relays and electrical components that made up the sequential turn signal units. The result was non-sequential, 3-bulb turn signals.I wonder why he installed cougar lights? Is that what Eleanor had?
Sweet! great project car. This sits in my garage...
This picture was taken in the mid-90s. The car is exactly the same today. I suppose I should finish it. It has been in a garage since the late 80s. I was offered $35,000 for it last year.
Factory S-code, 4-speed car makes it worth a lot. Who knows what it'll be worth if I rebuild everything and paint it up and stick it back in the garage for another 20 years. I got a lot of bitchen tickets in this car.
Why didn't you show me that when I was at your house?
So much crap in there. I gave Robin my dad's Snap-On roll-a-way to gain some extra space. Maybe with an off-NASCAR weekend, I can get some items moved to the storage.Nice, engine hoist, welding equipment.....you could open up a shop
Yes they do.California Special has the same lights doesn't it?
