My opinion on these drivers

decided to do this since the race got rained out

1-jamie mcmurray-just average. nothing special, dont hate dont like
2-brad k. old school, huge fan
3-austin dillion- will never match his potential- no titles wil win 10 or less races
4-harvick- he's ok but a hypocrite
5-khane- huge waste of talent. should be thankful for his looks. if he was average looking he'd be out of a ride
6-bayne- god kid to root for
7-regan smith-not as good as some people think
10- danica- shes got talent. opening the door for women
11- hamlin. i feel like hes on drugs. got talent
13-casey mears- sort of like jamie mac
14-stewart- hate to see him struggle. last link to the winston cup days
15-bowyer- overrated. cant believe hes getting the 14 car
16-biffle wasting the last years of his career- was a fan
17-stenhouse-bust. not good.will be know more for danicas boyfriend
18- kyle bush-if he was mature his whole career his stats would be staggering right now
19-edwards- seems fake
20-kenseth- good guy.
21-blaney- will be a future 3 time champ
22-logano. please dont squint
24-chase elliot- will be better than his dad!
27-p. menard- hes like jamie mac. looks boring
31-newman--does he even care anymore
41-kurt bush-same as his brother
42-larson..-- feel like when he breaks through its gonne be huge or he will always be mediocore
43-aric almoroila- should be gone
48-jimmie johnson- will go down as a 10 time champ
78-martin truex-never a fan
88 dale jr- really coming into his own now
 
1-jamie mcmurray-how the hell does such a huge company like McDonalds choose to sponsor this guy?? Massively overrated and I don't get the appeal
2-brad k. - Probably has 1 or 2 more championships left in him if he stays at Penske and they stay strong
3-austin dillion- Could win races and contend if he was on a top teir team, but he won't leave due to family. Sad
4-harvick- He may be a nice guy off the track and I'm glad he's won a championship but my god does he drive boring as crap.
5-khane- He's always sad, poor guy
6-bayne- overrated, sorry I don't get the appeal
7-regan smith-backmarker, don't care
10- danica- she's ok at best but damn if it wouldn't be something special to see her win a race
11- hamlin- closet gay
13-casey mears- Same as McMurray above. WTF?
14-stewart- He needed to retire two years ago, sorry but he dropped off a lot as he's aged
15-bowyer- overrated. cant believe hes getting the 14 car
16-biffle wasting the last years of his career- huge a**hole on the radio, screw him I don't care what he did a decade ago
17-stenhouse- mediocre even if he had better equipment
18- kyle bush- a fat rageholic but damn he drives exciting
19-edwards- Definitely fake. Like, the kind of douche who seems like a great guy when he meets the parents but is really railing your daughter
20-kenseth- He's an old-timer stuck in the good 'ol days who can't race anymore
21-blaney- Probably will win races but never a championship. Risks becoming the Kasey Khane of Penske
22-logano- F that guy, but he'll probably win multiple championships
24-chase elliot- will be better than his dad!
27-p. menard- Nice guy, too bad his dad is an a**hole
31-newman-- smart guy but need to lose some weight
41-kurt bush- Calmed down a lot and consequently became much more boring
42-larson..-- If this kid gets a good ride watch out
43-aric almoroila- Who?
48-jimmie johnson- the tiger woods of the circuit but won't win another championship with the current chase format
78-martin truex- awesome dude but I wish he didn't drive a toyota
88 dale jr- if he didn't have his daddy's last name he wouldn't even have a top tier ride. Cool face of the sport though I get the feeling he's really a nerd

7-Smith good guy decent driver needs to be on a first tier team

11-Denny Good humble kid at first turned into a jerk
13-Casey had his big shot and blew it
14-Tony one of the best all time!!
15- Clint nice guy ,funny great for TV lets see what he does in the 14
16- Greg great X and Truck driver Rousch not the same anymore
!7- Ricky so so mid packer Rousch
!8- Kyle probably one of the best all around 3 series drivers
19- Carl Tony was correct Eddie Haskell
20-Matt old school blue collar driver, the next Morgan Shepherd
21- Ryan- great kid future champ
22- Joey see Kyle Busch
24-Chase great kid, great driver big future ahead
27-Menard at least Daddy has $$$$$$$$$$
31-Newman should have stayed with Penske
41-Kurt his better days are over possibly trying too hard
42-Good driver great future needs to go to Hendrick or Gibbs
43- Aric..... Petty say no more
48- Jimmie GOAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
78- Real Nice guy good driver might steal a championship withthe new system he came close last year
88- Junior great guy , fan fav and media darling will get that elusive championship soon!!!

This made me laugh. Austin Dillon is a marginal talent who is a massive douche, wouldn't even have a ride without his family he's like a slightly better funded Paul Menard.

This, like some of the posts in this thread, made me laugh. It reads like fluff from daytime talk TV.

And .. there is no-one in that garage who is better "funded" than Paul Menard.

#1 Jamie McMurray-Average driver, but good on plate tracks. Could win a few more races before he retires. Should be on a lower tier team
#2 Brad Keselowski-Douchebag but a heck of a driver
#3 Austin Dillon-Seems to be coming into his own some this year. Could become a 1 win a year type of racer
#4 Kevin Harvick-Hell of a racer, one of my favorite drivers. Will win at least 1 more Championship
#5 Kasey Kahne-Seems like his best years are behind him, still may be able to steal a win here or there but shouldn't be at Hendrick after this season
#6 Trevor Bayne-A lot like Austin Dillon in my opinion, has been running pretty well lately. Could become a regular in the Top 10 if he could get into some better equipment
#7 Regan Smith-Nice guy but is nothing more than a seat filler
#10 Danica Patrick-Liked her at first but she's just getting plain annoying now. Wish she'd go back to IndyCar
#11 Denny Hamlin-Good driver but never liked him for some reason. Will always get a few wins a year but will never get a Championship
#13 Casey Mears-Would be a better fit in the Xfinity Series
#14 Tony Stewart-One of my favorite drivers of all time. Will hate to see him leave. Hopefully he can get a win this year but I doubt it
#15 Clint Bowyer-I think he's a better driver than a lot of people think. When he moves to SHR in 2017 I wouldn't be surprised if he started competing again
#16 Greg Biffle-Good driver who is past his prime. Should hang up his helmet already
#17 Ricky Stenhouse Jr.-Will forever be known as "Danica's boyfriend". As long he's with Roush I don't see him being anything more than a Top 20 driver week in and week out who will occasionally grab a Top 10.
#18 Kyle Busch-Annoys the hell out of me but is arguably the best driver in NASCAR at the time. Won't be surprised if he matches Gordon's 4 Championships
#19 Carl Edwards-Really good driver who you can always count on to get you a few wins a year. Don't think he'll ever get a Championship though. A lot like Denny Hamlin
#20 Matt Kenseth-One of the veterans now. Don't think he'll get another Championship but he'll still get a few wins a year
#21 Ryan Blaney-One of the up and comers. Won't be surprised if he gets a win in 2016. He'll be with a better team before long
#22 Joey Logano-One of my least favorite drivers, needs to let his dad stop fighting his battles. But he's a great driver. He'll get a Championship before he's done
#23 David Ragan-A lot like Jamie McMurray, good plate racer but isn't worth much anywhere else. Will have a good run every once in a while
#24 Chase Elliott-The next great driver. The way he's running right now I wouldn't be surprised if he got a win soon. Will win multiple Championships
#27 Paul Menard-Average driver. Nothing more, nothing less
#31 Ryan Newman-His better days are behind him. I think RCR should start looking for an up and comer to fill his seat in a few years. Don't think he'll ever get another win
#34 Chris Buescher-Would like to see what he could do with a better team
#38 Landon Cassill-I think he would benefit from a few more years in Xfinity
#41 Kurt Busch-Has been the most consistent driver in 2016. If he keeps running like he's running he'll get a few more wins and will be a contender for the Championship
#42 Kyle Larson-Is gonna get a win soon, once he does I think he'll start winning often, just has to learn how to close the deal
#43 Aric Almirola-Basically the same as Paul Menard, could possibly win another race
#44 Brian Scott-Should go back to Xfinity for a few years then try Cup again
#47 AJ Allmendinger-Slightly above average driver in my opinion. I think he'll get a few more wins at road courses throughout his career and could possibly steal one at an oval somewhere
#48 Jimmie Johnson-One of the all time greats. Wouldn't be surprised if he at least ties Richard Petty's 7 Championships
#78 Martin Truex Jr-Could be dominating this year if not for so much bad luck. He'll get a few more wins this season. Would like to see what he could do with a team like Hendrick or Gibbs but I think he's content at FRM
#83 Matt DiBenedetto-How can you not like the guy? Hope he finds some success in Cup
#88 Dale Earnhardt Jr-Amazing plate racer, above average to good anywhere else. Will get his fair share of wins but won't ever compete for a Championship

Kurt Busch is one of the most entertaining and consistent drivers in the business. I also cant help but look at how he was previously with two different teams that are now running at the top of their game where before, they were average and below average. Could be coincidence, but I doubt it. I also think his championship resume may be different had he had some better pit crews in the past.

So much insightful analysis of the skillsets and particularly the personalities and character of NASCAR's top athletes.
If this thread did not exist, I would never have known that Denny Hamlin is a closeted homosexual.

I wonder if the people running NASCAR's Diversity Program are encouraging him to come out?

I hope the NASCAR drivers never join R-F and offer their detailed opinions of us :eek:
