Oh well, I like Jeff and all but isn't the real story of the race Newman up front, Blaney running in the top 10 etc etc?

Jeff's got 4 cups, that's great and all but more exciting to see the newbies get around.
 
yeah true paul......green doing good and blaney.....jrff still has time to get back up there let the "newbies" do good tonight
 
Broken cam shaft did him in.:mad: Looks like he'll finish 39th. Everytime he has a shot to take the points lead something happens. Guess it just isn't meant to be this year.
 
Question for everybody. How can Jeff break a camshaft and be able to get back into the race? I thought that a major engine component such as that ended your race.:confused:

Asked the chatroom, and eeff and HS agree: you can replace everything but the engine block.

He didn't break the camshaft. They assumed they did, but it was the belt that runs it. Not an easy fix, but they basically put a band-aid on it and ran some laps. First DNF in a long time. He will lose positions, but gain points on the leader, as most will. So all in all, not that bad.
 
Gee thanks Abooja.:satisfied We just can't have any luck when we need it.

Junior did a heckuva job coming back and finishing where he did. You should be proud of him tonight.
