I don't want to make a bigger deal out of this than it needs to be. But, I just wanted to share this with some of you that I feel I know pretty well.

My wife went for a physical and the doctor found a rather large lump on her breast. She is scheduled for a mammogram next week. We have no idea whether it is cancer or not, of course, but it is a pretty scary thing. Her mom died of a different kind of cancer, as some of you may know, just a few years ago.

If any of you have any stories of something like this turning out fine, I wouldn't mind hearing them. Thanks.

Hey man, my prayers are with you and your wife, lets hope it turns out to be nothing.

You know my story. :)
My daughter's homebound teacher has had several, lg and sm. All of them has been benign. She's had to have ultra sounds and biopsies.

Prayers and Hugs to you and your wife.

Thanks for the encouragement guys and girls.

She said the doctor actually called it "a mass". Like I said, it is rather large. We will get through this one way or the other.

years ago my mom had a lump in her breast.drs told her she needed surgery and a biopsy.she's fine today.

will keep you in my thoughts and prayers.

tues. i go to schedule my surgery.i won't find out till afterwards what happened or what the biopys results will be.feel like im going in blind.
my prayer will go something like this: hi God, it's me again.....

I know the scare that you guys are facing. When they found a spot on my lungs, they put me through a bunch of tests, something I'm still dealing with for another year. So far, it isn't growing and the doctor thinks that it's benign but still wants me to have a CT scan every three months just in case. When they first told me of the spot, well, that's why I know how you and your wife are feeling. You will continue to be in my thoughts and prayers and let's all hope that it is indeed benign.

You and your wife will be in my thoughts and prayers. Thoughts and prayers for everyone facing health uncertainty and having not knowing hanging over your head. I wish you all a clean bill of health.

I dont have anyone in my family that I know of that had this, but a friend of mine had breast cancer... She ended up having it cut out, and lost most all of one side due to it. But it was a small price to pay for her life. This was over 10 years ago and she is doing great!

I am sorry to hear that your loved one is going thru this right now. Hopefully everything will turn out fine though. Prayers from NE Missouri....
