Outside of the World Finals, this had to be the best WoO weekend I've ever had. Two states, two series, tons of horsepower and just all out awesome racing
It started out Thursday night in Delmar DE, where the Late Model series would run their annual Thursday night show at the 1/2 mile dirt track as a lead in to the NASCAR race at Dover. The race was one by Josh Richards, who fought off Steve Francis and Brady Smith in a very tight race up front.
And even though I took Friday off, the weekend was capped with the sprint car series only trip into the state of Virginia for the third annual Paul Sawyer Memorial. This race was won by Jason Meyers in a quick, caution free 30 lap speed fest.
