Nadeau update

Thanks for the update on him, I've always like Jerry but I'll really be surprised if he makes it back to the Cup racing. Arca maybe but I don't think he'll ever get back to being 100%. I wish me all the best though.

I have always like Jerry also, but i dont see him back in cup...maybe the trucks or Hooters pro cup, but not bush or cup...

He is still working hard. He has been using racing simulators and thinks he has even raced against Dale Jr. He plans a slow return through the A.B.C. plan.

I sure hope to see him back in Cup but I'm thrilled he's taking his time and doing it right. But whatever the outcome I'm glad Jerry is still alive and able to enjoy his family.

Didn't they say Ernie Erving wouldn't make it back after his first wreck?

I think they did, if I remember correctly they said he wouldn't drive again because of his vision in one eye. But he proved tham wrong and came back conquered the track that almost killed him.

Thanks for the update. I wish Jerry all the best, but also doubt he'll be back in Cup.

I rooted for Jerry and I wish he would be completely healed, but I must admit, I think his time would be more well spent training for another career. :(

I'm glad to hear he is recovering. I would love to see him race again, but not if it could compromise his health. I hope he reconsiders Cup, and races in ARCA or the CTS.

I hope Jerry recovers fully. But, I really hope he doesn't race Cup again.

If he did make it back to Cup he would be scrutinized heavily for every little mistake that every other driver makes daily.

Ask Ricky Craven what it is like to hear the whispers (and sometimes much worse) every time you made the slightest mistake. I hated to see Ricky go through that and I would hate it even more to see Jerry go through that.

Jerry is a class act and very well liked by nearly everybody in the sport. I would rather see him count his blessings and move on. It's not very often someone gets a chance to be financially blessed to that extent and have the chance to walk away and do virtually anything we want with out lives. I hope Jerry takes that opportunity and gets to share his kids lives with them.

He nearly didn't have that chance.

Yeh ask Steve Park that same question. Jerry might make it back to Cup level, but who would take the chance on him?
