Here kitty, kitty, kitty
I've been thinking of this for many years and when I read today's local paper, it put the thought up front once again. My local paper each and every Friday has a complete section devoted to local high school sports. Having lived in many parts of the country, I find this a great idea that I've not witnessed before. Each Friday about 12 kids from various schools in the area are interviewed and at the end of each interview, three questions are posted in the paper. I'm sure there are many questions for the kids to answer, but only three are given. The questions give a sort of insight into what the kids think. As you can imagine, many of the kids answers are devoted to sports, but many of them delve into many other aspects of life. One of the questions that are posted is "What three people, living or dead, would you like to spend an hour with?" Though I haven't put a number to how many I would want to have a chat with, I have many times wished that I could spend some time with certain people. Of course the people I think about depends on what is going on in my life at the time, but there are people that always come to mind. At times I have thought about various religious people, various political people, various sports people and various brainiacs. So, my question is this, if you could spend one hour with three people, living or dead, who would they be? No explanation expected but feel free to expound. I know that next week at this time those three people can change too.
At present my three choices are, Robin Olds, Stephen Hawking and Edward Teach. How odd can that be?
