Eight people made correct predictions before the 2013 season started. It's up to all of you to decide whether or not they are worthy of being called a BOLD prediction or not by voting for a winner. You get one vote.

In no particular order.....

Bucky Badger - There will be no first time cup winners in a full time cup ride.

Captain Coyfish - JJ will become 6 time.

Charlie Spencer - Danica Patrick will compete in the 2013 All-Star race.

dirtguru - Joey Lagano will make the Chase.

SpeedPagan - Keselowski will have a dismal season due to the car change and not place in The Chase.

StewartHaas-Gibbs Racing - Danica Patrick will finish at least one lap down in at least 18 races (half the season) in the Cup series!

ted@economy - Ricky Stenhouse and Danica Patrick will finish the regular season less than ten positions apart.

For me it comes down to three choices because these are three thing that surprised me this season.

Matt Kenseth will get 5 wins in the JGR #20. - 5+ wins moving to a new team after having been established so long. I wouldn't have thought this would happen.

JJ will become 6 time. - Really, 6? Yeah, he's good but seriously?

Keselowski will have a dismal season due to the car change and not place in The Chase. - Missing the Chase after a such a good season? I didn't think it would happen.

I am not sure which one I'm going to pick yet but these are where I'm leaning.
 
I'm thinkin any of them with the word Danica in them are off most peoples list to start. For me , I would never have guessed that Kenseth could do what he did . That would be like Kurt doing it in 2014.

I think I'm getting read to flip a coin between my top two choices. I'm down to the Kenseth and Keselowski predictions.
 
I'm going Kenseth. He's ony ever won 5 race in a single season once before in his third full season in Cup. He's never won 7. To do that with a new team is quite the accomplishment IMO. Kenseth it is..... for me.
 
Matt Kenseth all the way, what a helluva first season with a new team.
 
I went with Matt and his 5 wins. That's a pretty bold prediction for a driver going to a new team.

Second place for me would be Brad missing the Chase.

IMO JJ winning a 6th championship wasn't a very bold prediction at all. It's was a pretty safe bet he'd be a top contender for the championship.
 
I think that Logano making the chase is as surprising as Kenseth winnng 5 races but thought that BobbyFord's prediction was bolder.

Funny , although I'm a Brad fan , I thought that his not making the chase was very predictable . For the same reason that Kenseth was so wild . New manufacturer , new teammate (s) , etc.. Very hard to overcome in one year . Same reason I don't expect much from Kurt and Kevin next year . Hard to believe that Matt did what he did .

I dunno, I think last season was pretty much luck for brad, I don;t see him having a repeat season like last year....As far as Kurt goes...I see him doing well next year, like he did this year

No its up to DP.. I just thought it should be brought to the light. Not taking away from your prediction, it was right and it was bold...but it wasn't accurate because you didn't say 5+ wins... Just that someone else was eliminated for the same thing..

I think yours should stay and the other should be included. I don't see why exceeding the bold prediction would make it wrong. But, "what evs" as the kids say.

Solid argument, Bread. But it wouldn't change my vote for Matt.

Thats pretty much my opinion on it too.. Im not trying to get him eliminated... just want it to be fair. Its not like if Nathan is included he'll win anyway lol
 
Gotta go with the Keselowski prediction. I never would've thought he would've been so awful this season. The Kenseth pick is a very close second.

Yeah, it really doesn't matter to me. I just figured it was bold as hell to think Matt would get 5 with a new team .The fact that he got 7 is amazing. I'd have NEVER predicted 7.
