does anyone have this game? if so how is?

im considering buying it this afternoon
 
I have it. Its a fun game but I'd go for NASCAR 2002. Better stuff.

Damn straight. But ever since I upgraded to Windows XP I have not been able to play it anymore due to a jumpy frame rate.
 
I bought XP when it first came out and nothing worked. It would just freeze anything and everything. I switched back to 98 and everything works. Waste of 100 bucks.
 
Well Nascar 2002 is the best thing that I know of. Although my Minimum requirement PC, Plays the game very poorly with EXTREMELY bad graphics.
 
I have NASCAR 4 and I do like it . Is NASCAR 2002 a lot better with more changes etc. Iwas thinking of waiting for the 2003 version.
 
NASCAR 2002 Season is a great game. Playing online is alot of fun, but all the "wreckers" can get annoying after awhile. I tend to play DTR Sprint Cars more. I just love the World of Outlaws.

My only complaints about the NASCAR series is that it is very sensitive to rubbing other cars ( At least for me it is ). Most of the time if it happens you are in the wall. Love those Raod Courses though.
 
Nascar 4 is a great game, Nascar 2002 is a bit better. Gotta love Sierra games.

If you are a gamer, Windows XP is the worst type of operating system to have. I still use Windows 98 and have 2000 on my lap top.
 
I'll probably wait for the 2003 version to come out then I'll upgrade from NASCAR 4. I downloaded the demo for 2002 and the graphics and the sounds were so much better. Plus, I like the little videos that come along with it. If I have a question about a certain track or turn it really helps. A nice little feature that is new.
 
Just think...Next year my PC wont be able to play Nascar 2003 with all the new enhancement etc...How do you Spell Upgrade!
 
LOL 66, But hey after I buy another new PC, It will be outdated in another 3 years anyway. I guess thats what technology today does to you.

I'm a gamer and use XP.

I play Unreal Tournament, Quake3, AA, MOHAA, WWII Online...basically all the newest games that are out right now run perfect on my system.
 
Did XP work good right out of the box? I couldn't be hooked up to the internet on my computer with XP so I couldn't download any drivers or anything to help fix the problem.
 
Yeah it worked really good. Maybe your modem isn't supported or something...but it worked perfectly for me.

What kind of modem do you have?
 
I have no clue. I will ask my dad when he comes home from work.
 
Hey new to this forum. I have had Sierra's Nascar Racing 4 for a couple years now. I havent played it in a while. I just wanted to go online and play, because now I have a cable modem. But I cant find anywhere to connect to play online. I checked Sierra's web site and I cant find any mention of the game anywhere on the site, its like it never existed. And I cant find a papyrus site either. I dont know whats going on. Can someone please email me with a response, and maybe some ip addresses that i can use to race online with Sierra's Nascar Racing 4 by papyrus. Thank you.
