Nascar breaking records left and right

I could be wrong but didnt I hear the last couple of races, new records have been set for slowest speeds ever.

I understand cautions, like that last caution of the day but some of these cautions are just way to long. 5 LAPS for a tire rub, and no one came in to pit rediculous.
 
I've said it before and I'll say it again, NASCAR is killing themselves.

Its a shame when the track announcers go over the records for fastest lap, fastest race, and the record of cautions.

Keep shuting down tracks and building them where the tree-huggers will throw a fit. That's really good for business. Keep the yellow out for 5 laps on a 2.5 mile track just because a car spun without hitting anything and you'll continue to go down hill.
