Nascar Brickyard 400 Pre-Race Thread

That’s a backup car for sure. Gonna be a tough day trying to work from the back of the field here. Probably the last place you’d want to start from the rear at.

Also, has Denny previously given us the opportunity to make a joke about whether Progressive will cover those repairs, and a rental car while they're made?

1-2-3-4-5. Get ya some!!!!! Hell yes!
He got him some..Hell yeah!

Denny's claim will have to clear Dr. Rick's desk prior to being approved.

Good luck wit dat.

Folks that think this race means nothing and doesn’t matter to the drivers/teams while not being a crown jewel of the Cup series because of “Muh Entertainment” are grossly misinformed and frankly, very wrong.

Saying the racing isn't entertaining doesn't mean we don’t get what it means to the drivers.

Oh he's the same one who cried because he was on the road course and not meaning the same, the dirt trackers the other night were happy to be at Indy not crying about what part of the track it was. And I will stand by my dislike of this fake ass race with its fake ass hype. Shoving things down people's throat because of a "tradition" younger than I am and stealing the hype from the actual race that matters is whats wrong.

Sorry. Nine.....and how about that future Dodge team, Legacy?

NASCAR has been around now for 76 years. This race in some shape or form for 31 of it…that’s almost half of NASCAR’s existence. At what point is the Brickyard 400 tradition then? What is a “fake ass race”? It’s also lasted longer than Riverside, A street race in Chicago, Chicagoland Speedway, Kentucky, Ontario and I’d wager to bet will be on the schedule long after San Diego will be gone. Nothing is stealing from the Indy 500. Nothing. It’s still the most popular race in the world. It’s great nascar has its own niche at IMS, why is that bad?

Yeah, I don't think Nascar having the Brickyard race is driving away Indy 500 fans in droves because Nascar races there.
The shrine to racing means a lot to every driver that races there. If you raced there, you are somebody in the racing world.

First time at this track for Nascar Canada. I believe it is a road course. It's on Youtube for access. TV Brickyard, puter Canada for me.
