This, I like.

From Daly Planet.....

NASCAR is exploring the idea of running some NASCAR Camping World Truck Series races throughout the season using a new “heat race” format in which approximately half of the trucks run a preliminary “heat race” followed by the other half of the trucks running in a separate preliminary “heat race.”

These “heat races” would then be followed by “The Main Event” which would feature a slightly longer race than the two “heat races” and would consist of only a certain number of the best finishing trucks from the first and second “heat races” competing in "The Main Event.”

That would be cool i think, especially the way those guys race, i like this idea.

This is a great idea. If they are going to do this "short track" style then yellow laps should not be counted during the heats.

Would they only do this on shorter tracks like Bristol? I don't know how well this would work on the 1+ mile tracks.

agreed.

Bring it on NASCAR, make the trucks even more exciting! Bring it on I say!

See now the reaction here confuses me...if the trucks change something it seems good but cup is bad

I say leave them alone. Once nascar starts with the changes they won't stop til the trucks are like the cup races, not worth watching most of the time.

Well the trucks usually change for the better. Well, other than that rule last year where you couldn't fuel and change tires at the same time. IDK who came up with that....
