I one time seen a Vega with a big block in at the drags. It only made one run and I never seen it again.

I saw a science project Vega with a tuned Buick 455 doing some testing out in Riverhead. In it's 5th run, it bent like a pretzel. Damn funny.

Way back they sold kits containing the motor mounts etc and everything needed to put a small block in a Vega. Know of several guys who did it.
