NASCAR Combining Series Officials

It is going around Twitter from reputable sources that this will be the last race for some 40% of NASCAR officials, some of whom have been around the series for decades. NASCAR will be cross-training officials to work on all three national series, apparently, and some folks will be out of work as a result.

If true that sucks for the ones losing their jobs but it may benefit the ones left with more work and better benefits. Hopefully something good will come out of it.
