NASCAR Dodge Weekly Series All-Time Top 25 Drivers

To commemorate the NASCAR Dodge Weekly Series 25th season, NASCAR will honor its history by creating a list of the NASCAR Dodge Weekly Series “All-Time Top 25 Drivers.” The list will first be published in the July issue of NASCAR Insider, the official NASCAR membership publication that appears each month inside Dick Berggren’s Speedway Illustrated magazine.

We are asking for your help to choose the drivers for this exclusive list!

To vote, go to http://www.nascarmedia.com/dodge/AlltimeTop25DriverPoll.jsp and make your selections. You can vote for all 25, or just a few names if you’re not sure. The poll is open until March 31.

If you have not visited nascarmedia.com, simply go to the site and click on “apply for access.” A password will be e-mailed to you shortly. (You can also access the poll by going to the NASCAR Dodge Weekly Series page on nascarmedia.com.)

Forty-five drivers have been nominated, including past and present drivers from across the nation. A description of each nominee is listed below and also appears on the web site to help you make your selections.

The 25 drivers receiving the most votes will be named to the list. If you would like to vote for another driver not appearing on the list, simply enter their name under “Other.”

Thank you for your participation and helping us to honor these all-time great drivers!

Ron, thanks for the heads up on this. Man, I've had the honor to see many of those guys drive. Of them, I've seen Aikey, Biffle, Boley, Christopher, Dolan, Gus and the Kosiskis, Jr Miller, Setzer, Wallace and Webb. I still watch Jr Miller wheel his modified around Bowman Gray Stadium weekly and at other tracks around the south. Just wonder why Billy Moyer isn't on the list. I know that he doesn't race the Weekly series all the time, but he has raced that series before.

Oh, and it appears that you still have to get access for the poll.

CB, you have to join and get a password to access the site. This may be good as it will stop one person from casting more than (1) vote for same driver... On another note, sorry you're not here to injoy this snow we have! LOL :D

:D :D :D I'm sorry as well. But it's been pretty cold here as well. I had to put on the wind breaker today. Whew, those 50 degree days are sure cold. :beerbang:

BTW, Ted Christopher will be racing down here this weekend as will be Jr Miller of that bunch and wouldn't you know it, we've got a date with some other couples to eat out. :( First race of the season and we won't be there.
