Nascar Happy

The fans asked to get rid of the tandem racing. NASCAR did that. It's pretty much back where it was before. Even so, fans will continue to complain. Wrecks have always been part of racing and will continue to be. If you don't like it, don't tune in. That will help send a message. In my case, I'll be on the edge of my seat watching every minute of the upcoming races.

+1...The people on this forum alone gave it a 7.5 out of 1o and they are never happy. Why would Nascar make any changes with that kind of satisfaction?

Great post, DP! I will be watching every lap of the Duel Races, every lap of the Truck Race, every lap of the N'wide Race and every lap of the CUP Race - because it is great theatre. But it's like Professional Wrestling - all for show.

And Teddy, I saw at least a couple of folks (me included) who rated the Shootout no better than a 5...

I don't think there is any doubt it was exciting..I just don't want any b!tching when there are big @ss pile ups

Saturday nights race was like a throw back race to what NA$CAR looked like during the mid to late 1990s when The Intimidator was ruling NA$CAR. It was a great race. I phoned a friend at told him he should watch the race and this guy hates NA$CAR but at the end of the race I get a text from him saying "great race , damn Kyle is one hell of a driver".

I know that , there was even a couple lower than 5 . I added them them all up and averaged them.

Look at Bristol and the public opinion on that one.

That's OK, I like the leg room when I go to Bristol for the race. Bruton did me a favor when he changed that track. I now can watch drivers race side by side there and as an added bonus, the lines to the restrooms are short. :D
