Probably destined for a new forum location but NASCAR related none the less.

LINK to article talking about tax breaks for racing. NASCAR is getting in line.

Something similar to this happened about 7 years ago. NASCAR and the big tracks got theirs, but the short tracks across the country that really needed the help didn't get squat.

The goal of good accounting is to get paid more & pay as little taxes as possible. Everyone does it

Not a big deal. Nascar would be stupid not to ask for tax breaks if other sports are getting them. Nobody needs tax breaks less than the NFL and no sports gets more tax breaks than the NFL.

It's how the game is played. Don't hate the playa, hate the game.

I'd rather the states and municipalities didn't do this for pro sports ... but they do.

Nascar tracks actually gets far less in tax breaks than the arenas and stadiums of the NFL, MLB, NBA, and NHL do.

I just hope the government teet makes Brian sick.

I wanna think most fans have to much pride to ever ask for a government nascar race (stamp). But the guys in the corporate suits have no shame.

The fans are the dogs and the legs, the ticks and leeches are the corporate suits. The real world is an upside affair, with the corporate hypocrites toasting there own sorry existence. All while hiring consultants to eliminate staffing and to figure out to how to maximize their pricing scales.

They are cowards born with the gold, and they use that gold to hire mercenaries to do their dirty work. Which is to purge more from those who will never see their gated communities.

They dont need this money, if you believe in a limited government, and real free enterprise the sucking ticks should be bothersome. Where are all the deficits hawks?

And two wrongs doesn't make something right, it is just an end justifies the means crock, another excuse to promote the self entitlement that they will never share.

They are not champions of business or the heroes that take real risk to provide jobs. Brian and company isnt putting his profit earnings into this, he wants a government backed buisness with all of the benefits of a genuine risk taker.

If Brian could be held accountable for any misuse of the peoples money and could go to jail with a sick sick I mean a really sick cellmate, the risk would be a worth the publics interest.

But that will not happen either, so I remain opposed.

i truly wonder what nascar has to actually pay other than taxes.
