Upon doing a Google Search, I found a former NASCAR racing facility here in Southern Maryland. It's called the Marlbro Raceway and it's about a half-0hour away.
So, what I'm wondering is, when will NASCAR try again? For decades, they've wanted to reach into Maryland, but go to very liberal towns to do so. If they tried to build a new track there, exactly wqhere Marlbro Raceway was, they could tap in to a huge market. It's right off 301 & 4, which, if you're going anywhere, you're on.
Just a longshot idea.
