Per the Sports Business Journal. This would pave the way for live online coverage of all the FOX races (ESPN is already online at ESPN.com). This also means that, come contract time, TNT Sports is out of the picture.

I heard this earlier today on Trading Paint, SIRIUS NASCAR Radio's mid afternoon broadcast. They said that this probably won't take place until 2013. It can't come soon enough IMO. Selling those internet rights to Turner has to be one of the absolute worst deals that NASCAR has ever made. I will gladly welcome NASCAR Radio's legal internet broadcasts.

I was glad they made the deal with ESPN though. I missed a lot of races because of the Turner/ESPN dispute.

Hopefully it results in NASCAR Radio coming to the internet and iPhone.

Maybe once Nascar gets the website back, they'll televise the race online?

I see it's on Time warner servers, But Nascar owns it

NASCAR.com is owned/run by Turner Sports

Speaking of NASCAR.com/Turner..... We are real close to their redesigned layout which occurs annually. It normally takes me half way through the season to learn how to navigate the site again after their upgrades.

Yeah, I think most people get sick of the constant changes

I'm still trying to get used to the msnbc.com redesign, from 2010.

I really hate the way Turner runs the site. They retitle the same story over and over to generate clicks. Watching a webcast is always screwed up. Watch a commercial, then get the 'please wait' screen. Meanwhile, the webcast has started, but you have to refresh the page yourself and watch another commercial. Then you wait and wait for server attention. No excuse at all.

They will also change the terms of use. If you try to log on and don't notice there is a message for you and check it to find out it's requiring you to agree to the new terms, they log you off.

The list of clumsy navigation goes on and on.

I have the same issue. I finally gave up trying to find things on the website and just use Google to find it for me.

The only reason I goto NASCAR.com is to watch the post race press video.

The rest of it sucks. And it's moderated to the point of "why comment". It might get deleted if they deem it "detremental to stock car racing"
