ISC declares dividend

International Speedway Corp. has declared an annual dividend of 12 cents a share, a 2-cent increase from last year, the company announced Thursday.
At its annual shareholders meeting Wednesday, the company also re-elected to its board of directors Jim France, Brian France, former bank executive Raymond Mason and former General Motors President Lloyd Reuss. Jim France, who took over as chairman from his brother, Bill, after Bill’s death last June, earned $1.08 million as chairman and chief executive officer, according to the company’s proxy statement. Lesa France Kennedy, Bill’s daughter and sister to NASCAR Chairman Brian France, earned $814,000 as president.
The France Family Group controls ISC with 66.26 percent of the voting stock. ISC owns and operates Daytona International Speedway, California Speedway, Chicagoland Speedway, Darlington Raceway, Homestead-Miami Speedway, Kansas International Speedway, Martinsville Speedway, Michigan International Speedway, Phoenix International Raceway, Richmond International Raceway and Watkins Glen International, along with MRN Radio.
