Most Valuable person that is.

And if you have been watching, MWR is the place where this guy resides in my mind.

Scott Miller. This guy went from RCR (who now sucks) to MWR (who now rules).

Scott Miller, congrats.

He turned that place around. They can run anywhere and be a contender now. I would say, better than RCR, and RFR. And MWR does it for cheap. That's hard to beat.

I agree with your observation, MWR has all their cars running competitive every race. Aside from a person I'd add the 48 team after seeing them take a wrecked car and get a top 10 out of it a couple weeks ago.

-Paul Wolfe deserves a mention.,,
-and Danica's god given driving abilities can't be ignored, she taught everyone how to crash correctly (raise them hands! )
-Five hour energy for abandoning Steven Wallace and making him go bye bye.

If you are talking MWR, there may be no more valuable team member than Mark Martin.
I'm just sayin...

I like your nomination MoeJoe , because Nascar truly is a team sport . No driver , however talented he is, can carry a team by himself . To see a single team member go from one team to another and actually make a difference to both the team that he left and the team that he went to , is the proof . We continually blame the driver for lack of performance instead of the team.

Time will tell if 2012 is an anomolous year for MWR. When they consistently contend for championships I'll give them their just due.

I remember you talking at the start of the year what a key move this would be for MWR. Nice call Moe.

I think that MWR is the real deal but if he wants to be serious about racing he needs to get his ass out that #55 and give a full time ride to someone. I'm not in any way a Vickers fan but he seems to be the obvious choice.

The whole Michael/Mark/Brian in the #55 thing is probably more complicated then we all think. It's easy enough to say to throw Brian or Mark in the car full time but maybe the sponsorship is the issue there. Like Michael or not and I'm guessing many do, he is a great spokesman for his products. I know many on here don't like him but I don't think that's the overwhelming majority at all. While not the most successful driver by any means, Michael is a driver/owner. At this point the owner part probably comes first. He would want to field the most successful teams that he could as an owner I'd imagine. If money is being brought in because of the arrangement that he has in place with him stepping in occasionally then it seems to be a success. They're doing well with the model that they're working under.

MWR has done an incredible job in a tough economy. They not only survived, they grew and added a chase driver. They just need to get more talent on the box for Truex, or get rid of him. I don't know what the problem is, but Bowyer has stolen the show. Without Tony's brain fart at Talladega, he's probably leading the points right now.

BrainFart? Martinsville? Bowyer? What?

......... for Truex, or get rid of him.

Wow , a leaner ,meaner Fender . What is he ? 7th in points? Maybe he should get the 'underrated' nod .I was thinkin of movin him up from my bench this weekend .But now , maybe not .

Underrated? With the exception of Danica Patrick I can't think of a more overrated driver. He obviously has equipment that's capable of winning races, his teammate has done it three times this year and even before they really turned a corner at MWR David Reutimann did it twice.

Truex does seem to get the lame ducks for his CC.

And how about that Brian Patti. He's showing Chip how to win em!

Wow ...that's not sayin much for the guys that aren't runnin as well as Truex. Like Matt , Tony, Carl and Kyle , they must be really bad drivers .

Proof is in the pudding man. HE HAS NOT WON A SINGLE RACE.

Lol Ted, you crack me up buddy;) All those drivers you listed there have won multiple races for the organizations they're with and have won/contended for championships.

In his championship year Matt only won one, but that was good enough to lock up the title a week early. You don't need to have wins to be a champion, you just need to knock out top 5s. There are plenty of drivers this year with one win and no Chase eligibility. What exactly does this particular pudding prove?
