It does not look good at all, green and red all around the Dover International Speedway.

I hope all the fans stay safe. I've been caught up in a rainstorm at Dover, there is no place to get cover - except at the casino. :eek:

There might be a lot og gambling going on right now though. :growl:

The weather outside is frightful!!!! It's very bright outside, not because of sunlight, but because of lightning! YIKES! :eek:

AND, it begins! :eek: :eek: :eek: :eek: :eek:
 
At 12:45 I got the word that we were under a tornado watch and that 60 mph winds were expected. They allowed us to drive the showcars from hospitality back onto the trailers. I appreciated that as I didn't need to have hail damage on my car.

So I packed up my **** and headed back up to hotel in Wilmington. Hit a little rain on the way but when I got to my room, it looked pretty bad on the radar around Dover.

One of the guys called from the Bay Bridge and he was not having fun. It was supposed to be a bit wild up there. I hate that damn bridge and don't like crossing it on a sunny day much less in a storm.

Tomorrow should be a better day. But I have to go through a lot of extra work because of the weather. Have to be there by 6 AM and get the car unloaded and into the hospitality area by 7 AM.

This is the second year that weather has been a factor in Dover. Last year the car got soaked trying to get out of there.
 
I just saw ESPN interview Denny Hamlin. He says Brad has to earn the respect of his peers. He done no wrong.

Denny appears to be a bit full of himself, don't he? Jeez, he tries to make himself sound as if he's been around for years and years, and that all the "young guys" need to respect the "veterens" like him.

What the hell has Denny Hamlin done? He's won 4 spitcup races and he thinks he's some superstar who's earned his 4 championships. :rolleyes:
 
What's the word on the race (I'm not near a TV). Do they really think they'll get it in today or is it postponed?
 
They're going to go racing!

They've dried the track, bringing out the cars and crews and driver intros shortly!

Bestwick keeps saying stuff like "When we come back, we're going racing!" and "Getting reday for the green flag here at Dover!" to keep people interested. They'd better shake it up before it gets dark!
 
Well, 3 hour rain delay and 80+ laps of racing so far and Kyle Bsch is leading. Surprise Surprise! :rolleyes:

Ok, so maybe I don't have to fight to stay awake anymore while watching my tape of it, cuz I was definitely losing the battle and fell asleep already!! I had to go out when it finally started. Figures! LOL :)
 
You can be angry about being taken out in a wreck that wasn't your fault, but don't take it out on the reporter.

Again, Kyle Busch can wreck whoever he wants for whatever reason he wishes. But, you can't wreck Kyle Busch.
