This was a fabulous show. Alan Bestwick, Rusty Wallace, Mike Missaro, Brad Daugherty sat around and talked about ALL the racing last week --- even the truck race on SPEED!

Maybe ESPN has finally gotten the message that last year's show stunk to high heaven.

Allen Bestwick is the most underused resource ESPN has. He's a natural. Great commentator.

He and Jerry should swap places, ASAP. I think Jerry Punch right now is the sole remaining problem with ESPN's coverage. His commentary is ... well ... weak.

Back in the day, about the only way to know what was goin on to listen to the races on MRN...... grew up listening to Barney Hall and Allen Bestwick. He is a really good commentator.........
i agree with ya about Punch though...... he would make a much better pit reporter.
