NASCAR Officials At CASCAR Race
Several top-flight NASCAR officials took in Saturday's CASCAR race at the Toronto Molson Indy, touching off speculation that Canada's premiere stock car series could be sold to the U.S. racing body. "Yes, we've been in discussions with NASCAR... they're already interested in Canada as a market," CASCAR president Tony Novotny said after Saturday's CASCAR event, won by Jeff Lapcevich for the second consecutive year. Four NASCAR officials watched the race and visited with CASCAR officials and teams in a day-long tour of the Canadian racing body. I suspect. And I think it might be a good idea too.
 
And I saw another article that spun the fact they were there as they were looking at the facility to have a race in Canada.
 
Pretty easy name change if it were to happen!! NASCAR................North American Stock Car Association of Racing. :D
 
Maybe they're just there to help revamp the rule book and points system. :lol:
 
poor canadians...

but hey, if the rumors are true, they might get more cart, er owrs, races soon...woopee.
