ONE NEW POST FROM KEVINWI

"Wow! The first win for Kyle Larson! Leader @Johali manages to narrowly hold onto first place with Paul Menard while @pjmolo scores the best finish of the week with Chase Elliott! Here are the standings. Don't forget to make your picks! I just wish I could think of something fun to do to celebrate NASCAR's throwback weekend. :\ :\ :\"

gonna be damn hard to catch @Johali considering everything he's got left in the stable . . .

As we know It's all relevant as to "when" the picks are used. A couple of wrong choices on my part and right ones on you or a couple of others part and I'm done. :)

I've been watching that for a few weeks.
A lot of his "bad" picks came good. Hmmmmm ...
It's not cheap to get a caution flag thrown when you need it.

maybe we should go chase format ;)
I've got Vito's number on speed dial. :owquitit: :p

How are you doing this? Looks like the same way we have our racing pool?

Pick 1 driver a week and once a season, points on where driver finished (1st = 1pt), lowest points wins.

----

Range in points from 314-508 (194 point diff)

I am 4th with 366 points. But i still have top drivers in the bag for the Chase

Now that's what I call a retro post . . .

I thought so too. what happened?
Not sure. I guess the idea behind the humor was to subtle to be understood & I'm guessing that a fair amount of work went into creating that.

Kudos to @KevinWI for putting on a heckuva game that I completely suck at and nice job with the throwback attempt. ;)

The C64 stuff took me back a ways. I remember spending hours with that thing typing in code. Who knew I'd eventually get paid to do so?

Thanks for the recognition guys. Little upset it was wiped out without warning or explanation.

Probably looked at as some sort of mistake rather than its intended purpose. Kind of like a April Fool's Day joke that goes unnoticed because what day it is is not recognized.

After @KevinWI hadn't posted in over a week and then the retro post appeared, I honestly thought for a minute that his computer had crashed and he resorted to using a mothballed Commodore 64 to somehow get on-line.

shows how little I know 'bout dem 'puters . . .

Haha, no, just a little throwback post to celebrate the Darlington throwbacks. Originally I had ambitions to make it look like an old issue of the National Speed Sport News from the 1960's. I was trying to figure out what old fonts they used and everything and how to reproduce it in Photoshop but didn't have time for something that ambitious.

I'm one of the technological impaired that thought it was a glitch. I'm not the only one but probably the only one to admit it.

Hey, be careful down there in FL. See the storm just east of ya. Tie everything down and make sure you got the BL on ice.

Like you my BL's alway's on ice and the generator is primed just in case that thing jogs to the port a little. It's going to mess up the reopening of snapper season this weekend regardless of where it hits. Oh well it's going to be open each Friday Saturday and Sunday in September and October. I guess that I can wait. :)

Spring Break aint the snapper season???

@RacerrecaR picked up a whoppin' 3 points on game leader @Johali while everyone else through the sixth position falls further behind.
