The deadline for submittal of picks for the next race is Sunday, May 17th, noon Eastern time.

Players are asked to use the same conversation used to submit picks for the first four races.

Due to the radical change in the race schedule, for any player that previously submitted picks for future races (as originally scheduled) in advance, picks must be resubmitted based upon the new schedule.

I typically follow the lead of the Driver Group Game but Kenseth hasn't shown up in any of the groups in the RFFL league yet.

Personally, I think he belongs in the B Group.


Update: Based upon @Greg's post in the Driver Group Game thread, Kenseth will be placed in the C Group.

I'll follow that placement for the Pick 'Em game.

Personally I think he is a B group driver too.
But I am putting him in as a RFFL C group driver to remain consistent with the largest DGG league on the website.
I have kept the rules consist with them in order to allow any RFFL member to compete in both leagues without having to manage seperate rosters.

It is probably a little selfish on my part.
But I like to see how I am doing against thousands of other teams, while also enjoying the RFFL competition.

Have I missed something about this game? What are the rules regarding the driver groups? I can't find the original discussion to review them.

Don't feel like the lone ranger... have no ideas as to how this works....back in my time you picked three like at a horse track.

All I know is that Kenseth will finish around 12th

No need to worry about the driver group thing.
It is just a tool @pjmolo uses to show how everyone is managing or using the pool of drivers.
There are different strategies or approaches @Clutch has done well by almost always picking the best avalible drivers early and managing the lower tier drivers well late in the season. He won the 2019 championship and international stardom that way.

Some like to use the lower tier drivers early and maintain a strong bench for the late season.

The ABC groups isn't perfect with exceptions like a C group Kenseth. But it at least 80% accurate and good enough for Pjmolo to chart or spreadsheet everyone's strategy.

The job he does with defining those strategies is great, the best I have seen from any of our league commissioners(imo). I wish I was half as good.

The 2020 NASCAR Cup Series returns to action today with the running of The Real Heroes 400 at Darlington Raceway.

Unlike any previous Cup race in the history of NASCAR, all fans in attendance have been asked to dress as an empty seat.

The most popular pick this week, selected by seven players, is Erik Jones. Denny Hamlin was selected by five players and Kurt Busch was selected by four.

I was so close to picking Ryan Preece & he's having a solid run. DiBenedetto quietly in the top 15 though.
 
Congrats to @Head423, @jws926, and @kkfan91 for taking the "Highest Finishing Pick" award this week. Their pick, Kevin Harvick, finished first in The Real Heroes 400 at Darlington Raceway.

Additional congrats to @kkfan91 as he had the most upward movement in the standings this week by moving up seven spots.

Congrats also to @Clutch who retained the first place position in the game's standings and has now picked a top ten finisher in each of the first five races.

Finally, let the word go forth that @DanicaFreak is hereby awarded the "Wiping Up the Rear Award" as his pick, Ricky Stenhouse Jr., finished dead last after failing to complete so much as a single lap. :owquitit:

I told @DanicaFreak I was nominating the Stenhouse pick for 'Bonehead', but 'Wiping the Rear' is a far more appropriate award. :p
 
Im playing the "all red" strategy. Come talk to mr back marker when Im running group A drivers and you just have group Cs.
