The deadline for submittal of drivers picks for the next race is Sunday, March 14th, 1:30 p.m. Eastern time.

The 2021 NASCAR Cup Series continues its westward swing with drivers hoping not to run dry in the desert during the running of the Instacart 500 at Phoenix Raceway.

Once again the game's most popular driver pick wasn't an overwhelming favorite among players as the picks were spread out among the drivers.

Aric Almirola and Ryan Newman were the most popular driver picks, each selected by four players. Matt DiBenedetto, Kevin Harvick, and Michael McDowell were each selected by three.

Of note is the fact that, in each of the first five races, @Team Penske has been among those players selecting the most popular driver. Through the first four races his position in the standings appears to have supported those picks. :dirtbike:

Congrats to @2 Sweet and @MAGICMILER, who share this week's "Highest Finishing Pick" award following the third place finish by their pick, Denny Hamlin, in the Instacart 500 at Phoenix Raceway.

Congrats also to @DC76, who capitalized on the 11th place finish by Aric Almirola and moved up six spots in the standings.

Additional congrats to @Team Penske, who also capitalized on the finish by Almirola and slipped past @Clutch into the top spot in the standings.

Finally, congrats to @MAGICMILER for finally escaping the cellar spot in the standings after holding onto that position for the first four races of the season.

They think trying to pass at Phoenix it tough, I posted a finish better then 27 players this week and moved up only 2 spots.
