The TENTATIVE deadline for submittal of driver picks for the next race is Sunday, July 2nd, 6:00 a.m. Eastern time.

That deadline is likely to be moved to a later time contingent upon the time of game management's departure for Grant Park.

Points are in numerical order … players listed alphabetically as noted above.

Data entry error. Easy to do. 😎

The deadline for submittal of driver picks for the Chicago Street Race has been changed to Sunday, July 2nd, 3:00 p.m. Eastern time.

Due to the start of the Chicago Street Race being "on hold" the submittal of driver picks and/or changes will continue to be accepted at least until "when the levee breaks."

Yeah ... if it rains another foot I’ma change drivers.

Ouch! Suarez was top 5 / 10 until he got caught out by the race-shortening announcement. Got crashed in the ensuing melee and had to pit again to tear off the rest of his LF fender.

And Shane VG is something else. Congratulations to the 40 or 50 of you that picked him. 😎

For the second consecutive race, a record number of players picked the driver that was the first to cross the finish line.

In the last race eleven players picked race winner Ross Chastain while in the Grant Park 220 at Chicago a record sixteen players picked race winner Shane Van Gisbergen .

Those sixteen, @antman12, @Biggreen695, @Clutch, @Conover. @DC76, @FLRacingFan, @Greg, @Head, @LewTheShoe, @LibertyU24, @Old 97, @pjmolo, @RayinTX, @superchuck500, @ToyYoda, and @Truex_rox each took the "Highest Finishing Pick" award for the race.

Incredibly, @antman12 has taken that award following each of last four races in a streak that has included the picking of three race winners.

The "Most Upward Movement" award went to @olwhatshisname, who used his pick of the race winner to move up five spots in the standings.

Although @Mr Excitement saw his lead over second place in the standings drop to 8 points, he maintained his hold on first place for the fourth consecutive race.

The "Slipping & Sliding" award was taken by @hmmm298, whose pick of 27th place finisher Daniel Suarez caused him to drop six spots in the standings.

This game is so much more enjoyable when they practice and qualify. It would have been much harder to pick a first time starter if we had no idea what he and the car looked like on the track. A lot still would have but the whole shooting in the dark element makes it much more frustrating.

Man, my lone “no pick” is really, really costing me. Oh well, my own fault 😒
Nah, I had 3 (joined late, missed 2) last year and finished 4th, 25 points behind the winner. Besides, its really only a 1-10 point penalty and now you don't have to pick someone like Ty Dillon.
