I was nervous about my pick, but after consulting the abacus, it tentatively looks like I only dropped 2-3 spots. I'll take it...

Nothing too impressive for Jones, but still 8 spots better than his average finish this season, so I'll take it. Honestly, I can't be disappointed with how the last three weekends went. Next weekend on the other hand, I'd be happy with a top 30 from my guy. 🤞🤞🤞

Congratulations to @ToyYoda and @ol'whatshisname, the recipients of the "Highest Finishing Pick" award following the second place finish of their pick, Denny Hamlin, in the The Great American Getaway 400 at Pocono Raceway.

The "Most Upward Movement" award was shared by @LibertyU24, @Greg, @Brentford, and @Jorge De Guzman as their picks enabled each of them to gain three spots in the standings.

The "Slipping & Sliding" award was taken by @hmmm298 when the car of his pick, Ty Gibbs, apparently done blowed up real good, leaving Gibbs with a 27th place finish and causing @hmmm298 to drop five spots in the standings.

The "Top Five" club saw the return of @Conover after a three race absence while @dirtfan was shown the door after having been a member of the club for the last thirteen consecutive races.

Finally, after a recent challenge by @Spotter22 to @ol'whatshisname and @Biggreen695 . . .
I'm coming for you ol'whatshisname and BigGreen! Bring on the Tricky Triangle!
. . . @Spotter22 used the fifth place finish of his pick, Joey Logano, to move past @Biggreen695 into second place behind @ol'whatshisname in his quest for the top of the leader board.

As it turns, the only players with an active streak of picking a top ten finishing driver for two consecutive races are . . . @Spotter22 and @ol'whatshisname.

Let's go racing, boys !!!

You pulled away a little @olwhatshisname! But I've got a master plan to reel you back in! (insert evil laugh) But seriously this has been a fun year with a lot of surprises, some good, some bad. On to Indy and see if I can close in on the leader, I'm coming for you @olwhatshisname, check your mirror!

Carson Hocevar's average finish is 19.8, so I really can't complain with a P17. Any time your pick gives you a better finish than his average, I consider that a win.
